If you see on your debit card, it means your card is capable of making contactless purchases.
Contactless debit cards offer a quick and secure way of making purchases simply by holding your card near the chip reader. Contactless payments are as secure as inserting your card into a chip reader, only quicker. The process usually takes less than one second. Helping to make your purchases faster than ever! So the next time you're checking out, look for the contactless icon on the terminal to tap and pay.

Important: Most Abri Debit Cards do not have contactless payment capabilities. When your card expires and is re-issued it will have the new contactless payment feature. If you wish to order a new contactless Abri Debit card prior to your cards expiration date, please send us a secure email in online banking or call us at (815) 267-7700 to request a new debit card. Please note that a $5 card replacement fee will apply.  Your card number will remain the same, and the replacement card(s) will be mailed to your current address on file.
